Project Progress
and Status of Our Work to Date

Activating lotions and pigments have been created that work within nonliving pigskin. Many pigments have been identified that are safe which would produce very colorful inks.

We have determined the pigment needs to be encapsulated in an inert, translucent, semipermeable shell material that resists ethyl alcohol and wide-ranging changes in pH.

Two attempts at microencapsulating the pigment were performed at Southwest Research Institute. Click here:  https://blinkinktech.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/SwRl-reportsmerged.pdf
